How To Delete Applications on MacBook, Quick and Easy Tutorial!

Macbooks have become increasingly popular because of their speed, performance, and battery life, making many new users want to try this device. However, some new MacBook users face confusion in uninstalling apps. This guide will walk you through the tutorial on how to delete applications on MacBook.

The Macbook Pro comes in several variants, starting from the 13-inch variant which has a slightly better performance compared to the Macbook Air, the 14-inch variant for high performance and stability, and the 16-inch variant with a spacious screen, which can be used to work hard in a range of a long time.

How to Delete Applications on a Macbook 

Here is the step of deleting an app, quoted from Apple.

Using Launchpad

1. Open Launchpad by clicking the Dock, opening the application folder, or pinching with your thumb and three fingers on the trackpad.
2. Type the app name in the search field or swipe down with two fingers
3. Press the Option key () or click and hold on the app until it vibrates
4. Click remove with the (x) icon next to the app.
5. Click delete to confirm.

Using Finder

1. Find apps in the Finder by typing the app's name in the bar next to each Finder window or use Spotlight to search for apps by pressing the Command () key while typing the app.
2. Drag the app to the trash or select the app, then select File and move it to the trash.
3. Enter username and password if required
4. Then select Finder
5. Select Empty Trash.
